In the shadow of Liberty Falls’ elegant Clock Tower stands the charming blue building that houses “Bergman’s Clock Shop.” Each day as the Clock Tower chimes out the passing hours, Stuart Bergman welcomes customers to view his unrivaled selection of Swiss watches as well as clocks of all descriptions. No request for a timepiece was ever too humble or too grand for Stu Bergman to fulfill: he supplied the simple wood-cased clocks for miners and ranch hands, the graceful brass models for ladies’ sitting rooms, and even the occasional grandfather clock for elegant families like the bankers Clark and DuBois. Stu remembers with a chuckle that Mrs. Gretchen DuBois ordered a cherry-finished grandfather clock one week—and by the next Mrs. Samantha Clark was in the shop to select a mahogany model!

Stationmaster John Strauss can’t ever pass by Bergman’s without remembering how his dear wife saved her butter and egg money for a full year to buy him the golden pocket watch he’d coveted. “Now, John, who needs to know the exact time more than you do,” Jessica Strauss clucked when her husband insisted she “shouldn’t have.” Stu Bergman loves his trade—helping folks keep the time in style and sometimes making dreams come true!
